Brent Burns  Always a wonderful performer Brent,  was well received with great enthusiasm by Rendezvous participants in 2006 & 2007.   Singer & song writer, he began with the Grapes of Wrath band and has come to love the trop-rock sounds of our
Gulf Coast and we love the tunes he brings.
Brent regularly performs at Lulu’s in Gulf Shores, AL is a nationally recorded artist who holds the distinction of being the only artist to have his song, Cheaper Crude or No More Food, played on Paul
Harvey’s show 3 times. We love Brent’s humor and musical styling and were pleased to have him perform again at our
Parrot Head Rendezvous,   the title of a song he wrote as a celebration of Parrot Heads. Thank you again Brent for all you
do for Parrot Heads, Habitat for Humanity and for being an all around "Good Guy."

Brent performed at MOTM 2005-2007 delighting the crowds with his original tunes and covers of Jimmy Buffett.  2007
has been  a busy year for Brent who played at Mardi Party 2007, Margaritaville, New Orleans, LA, Oyster Spat, and many other events and released his latest album, Ragtops and Flip-Flops Summer 2007.  We're glad to be hosting Brent to play for you at
Rendezvous in 2008!

CalypsoNuts
Described as the "Energizer Bunnies" of the trop-rock entertainment world this band really knows how to get
the crowd moving and grooving to their great sounds.  "The Virginia Beach based CalypsoNuts are more than a variety act. The "Entertainment Without a Net" approach guarantees that each performance is custom tailored to suit the audience at hand. From
island ballads to dance music and everything in between, the show is filled with the music that fits the event."  They've performed at MOTM, the national Parrot Head convention in Key West, Corona Extra VIP party Manassas, VA for the Jimmy Buffett Concert 2000-2006, National BBQ Battle Washington, DC. STARS event in Gulf Shores, AL  and many more. Welcome Back Nuts... we love you!

Landsharks Band
According to their website "If you're afraid of having too much fun, then lookout for the Landsharks."
Well we're here to tell you that we're not afraid. This band will have your toes tapping and your fingers snapping.  They've fronted for
the best, Jimmy Buffett and the Beach Boys.  They've played at Margaritaville in the Keys, entertained our US Troops, Parrot Head
regional events and MOTM, the national Parrot Head Convention.  You're really going to want to be a part of their lively show and
from what we've seen and heard, as an audience member, you'll be part of the show.  Want to hear what Jimmy Buffett had to say
about this band, check it out here:  Soundclip   1 Buffett at Margaritaville, Orlando & SoundClip   2  Buffett on Radio Margaritaville

Latitude

Regulars on the Wacky Parrots Sunset Cruise in Key West, FL during MOTM fun festivities Michelle and Tom are
well known to the Parrot Head nation.  Singing and playing together for 10+ years they've amassed a song list of 500 songs from
Buffett to Blue brow, tropical shirts to tuxedos this duo's got it all.  You'll want to be sure to hear them as they sing near the white
sand beaches and azure waters of the cool Gulf of Mexico.  We're glad to be bringing them to Panama City Beach and the Parrot
Head Rendezvous for the very first time in April 2008.

Mile Marker 24 with Howard Livingston

Ok we told you earlier these guys have a surprise for you... but...
its just too cool to keep... so lean in close to the screen, so only you can see it... They make Margaritas on stage.  OK so you think
that's no big deal. Well guess again.  You are not going to believe what I'm going to tell you next.  You just have to be here to see
their blender.  No joke, seriously, its like no other you've ever seen.  "... and that's all I've got to say about that..."  OOOHhhh, its
going to be so much fun watching your faces as they make and serve their version of the Margarita.  What else do they do, well hey
news flash, they have more fun on stage playing together that you'll just have to have fun with them.  If you aren't singin' grinnin' and
havin' a blast while they're a pickin', singin' and a' grinnin' atcha, well all I can say is someone call the paramedics because you're one
dead cookie.  Saw these guys and gals at MOTM in the Keys and I got tell you that my face hurt from singing and laughing right
along with them.  So let's get out there and give a big Panama City Parrot Head Welcome to the Howard Livingston's
Mile Marker 24 Band.

JACK MOSLEY

Back for the second year in a row by popular demand, originally from Panama City, FL Jack can't claim
that he has "never played in his own hometown."   Trying out Nashville, Jack discovered that he didn't look good in a cowboy hat and
his sound was much too tropical for the northern latitudes, so he headed back home to sunny Florida where Parrot Heads are happy
to listen to his wonderful sounds.  This was really evident when bunches of us stood in a driving wind blown rain to hear Jack's performance at MOTM 2006. Fortunately this year, Jack's Schooner's CD Release party was high and dry.
Jack loves sailing and singing about the places he's been and lived.  Songs include topics and settings such as Johnson Bayou, Ecofina Creek and other boyhood haunts.  If you're on Beach Drive, at the end of Balboa Street, look out at the Bay. You'll see a "range finder day mark"
used by ships coming into the harbor, that's the one of song fame that Jack used to swim out to to play pirate.  Welcome back home
Jack, we can't wait to hear you sing for us one more time.

DOCKSIDE JUNKIES

"The Dockside Junkies are avid, dedicated Parrot Heads residing in Panama City, Florida. The
band was started with the goal of being a true Jimmy Buffett tribute band, playing a mix of a vast majority of Buffett tunes from classics
to the more recent. They also include other beach-style songs thrown in from other artists.  Although we've lost Jerry to the northern
lattitudes of Virginia, Ray and Karen still play and sing.  This year's performance will be an acoustic performance during one of our
breakfast events.

SteveN youngblood
A local artist with tropical sounds and island time in his music, Steven has played many Parrot
Head events and has delighted all.  Recently Steven performed at Lulu's Home Port for the Song Writer's Event.  A regular
entertainer at Hammerhead Fred's on beautiful Panama City Beach, Steven is an huge Jimmy Buffett fan and delights audiences
with his renditions of JBs tunes as well as those he's written himself.  Steven has been signed on with Carnival Cruise Lines to be a shipboard entertainer this coming summer season.  You go Steven.   You'll definitely want to hear his latest,
"Hope My Ship Comes In Before My Dock Rots."  His "holler and swaller" style is well known in these parts for "gettin' the party started."  Active in the song writers events Steven is working on songs for his first CD.
